Ki'Lolo at the Combine
Dear Ki'Lolo,
Thank you for being part of the Elijah Lee Elite Girls Flag Football Combine and for bringing your time, energy, leadership, and example to the athletes in Independence.
Your presence meant more than a guest appearance. You gave young girls a chance to see what is possible in the sport of flag football. You showed them that this game can create opportunity, confidence, discipline, and a real pathway forward.
As the first female athlete to receive a Division I flag football scholarship, a 3-Time Junior U.S. Gold Medalist, and a trailblazer for the next generation of girls flag football players, your story carries weight. But what made the day special was not only what you have accomplished — it was how you showed up for the athletes.
Thank you for encouraging them, teaching them, inspiring them, and helping us begin something meaningful for girls flag football in Independence and the greater Kansas City area.
With appreciation, Elijah Lee Elite Girls Flag Football Independence Girls Flag Football Community

The ELE Year-Round Development Pathway
One Year. One Development System. Measurable Growth.
The Elijah Lee Elite Girls Flag Football Academy is designed to go beyond simply forming teams and playing games.
ELE creates a year-round developmental pathway where athletes can establish a measurable starting point, understand their strengths and developmental needs, train with purpose, track improvement, compete against committed athletes, translate training into game performance, and develop confidence and leadership.
Don't guess whether an athlete is improving. Build a system that can help show it.
The ELE year begins with testing. Athletes participate in an ELE Combine where key areas of athletic and football performance are evaluated.
These results create an athlete's initial developmental baseline. The purpose isn't to rank athletes — it's to understand them.
Testing should never be something athletes complete once and forget. The baseline becomes useful when it influences what happens next.
Training has to translate to competition. Athletes move from drills and controlled training environments into meaningful football situations with other athletes who also want to improve.
Steel sharpens steel.
Competition helps coaches see things testing alone cannot — how an athlete responds under pressure, applies technique at game speed, communicates, makes decisions, and recovers after a mistake.
Late fall and winter become an important development period. Athletes continue strengthening areas identified through testing, training, and competition.
ReTrainer™ provides continuity between phases — previous information helps provide context for what an athlete should work on next.
Spring brings athletes into ELE's structured competitive league environment. This is not intended to replace school athletics — it creates an additional developmental pathway for athletes who want more opportunities to train and compete.
Steel sharpens steel.
This creates a continuous feedback loop rather than treating practice and games as separate experiences.
By summer, development extends beyond physical performance. ELE wants athletes to become better competitors — but also better teammates and stronger young women.
Better athletes. Better teammates. Stronger young women. Leadership is demonstrated through behavior — not only by who scores the most touchdowns.
The developmental year concludes by returning to where it started — testing. Athletes compare current results with their original baseline.
Where did I improve?
How much did I improve?
What helped me improve?
What should I work on next?
September 5, 2026 → August 7, 2027. Then the process begins again.
ELE ReTrainer™ adds a data-driven layer to athlete development. Athletes don't simply receive an initial score and disappear into a generic training program — throughout the process, development can continue to be measured.
We don't test once and forget the numbers. We use information to help guide development. If an athlete improves in one area, the next challenge increases. If another area needs attention, trainers continue working on it.
During competitive portions of the year, relevant player performance can be tracked through a dedicated game-performance layer. Depending on position, this can include statistics and coach observations:
ELE development is never based solely on wins and losses. We want to understand whether the athlete herself is progressing.
This is a cycle, not a straight line that ends after one season.
Know where you are.
Build what you need.
Apply it under pressure.
Become more than a player.
Measure the growth.
Then do it again.
"Next level" is not exclusively college athletics. ELE is a pathway capable of meeting athletes where they are while continually challenging them toward where they can go next.
Learning the game and becoming confident enough to compete.
Earning more playing time or becoming a starter.
Competing against stronger players and improving position-specific skills.
Preparing for elite competition, high school success, travel, showcases, or potential collegiate opportunities.
The commitment to growth is.
ELE is actively working with sponsors, community partners, and fundraising efforts to help cover as much of the cost of athlete participation and development as reasonably possible.
We want young athletes earning opportunities through hard work — not because their family can simply afford more. Build a developmental model that works, then continue finding ways to make it accessible to more young athletes.
ELE is committed to providing young women with a safe, competitive, encouraging environment where they are allowed to learn, struggle, succeed, make mistakes, and grow. Parents and families are essential to protecting that environment.
Coaching
belongs to the coaches
Officiating
belongs to the officials
Playing
belongs to the athletes
The sidelines should never become an environment of pressure, hostility, confrontation, negative coaching, or criticism of young athletes. These girls need room to compete, make mistakes, learn, and become confident.
Competitive does not have to mean toxic. Their growth is the priority.
Athletes establish a baseline and have opportunities to measure improvement.
Development doesn't disappear when a season ends.
Testing and progress information can help inform future training.
Athletes compete with other players who are serious about improving.
Training, testing, coach observations, and game performance create a more complete developmental picture.
Whether the next step is learning the game, making a team, or pursuing future opportunities, ELE is designed around continued progression.
It's a development system.
Test where you are.
Train for where you're going.
Compete against athletes who push you.
Lead those coming behind you.
Measure the growth.
Then do it again.
TEST • TRAIN • COMPETE • LEAD
The Flagship League is intended for competitive athletes who are serious about development.
Athletes do not need to be finished products. They do not all need years of flag football experience. However, they should be ready to work, compete, listen, learn, and grow.
Pre-registration does not guarantee final placement. Athletes may be evaluated for fit, experience level, competitiveness, coachability, and roster balance.
